I have 2000 Tacoma 2.7L auto came stock with 4.10s, had 31s put on, @65 rpms were about 1800, lifted 2 inches and regeared to 4.56 and had 33s put on @65 rpms are about 2200. I want more power out of it, occasionally tow and do some wheeling, what will the rpms be at on 33s with 4.88s and 5.29s with the auto tranny. Eventually wanting to do a MT or LT suspension in the future also.

Looking for help, I appreciate it in advance

I just put 4.56 in my 99 2.7 auto. I had 4.30 stock with 255/85 (33.2"). I did the math and 4.56 put me almost exactly at the stock final ratio, I believe 4.6 would have made it exact.

It also depends on how heavy your wheels and tires are. If you are running load range E tires, you will want a lower gear ratio. You can also call up East Coast Gear Supply and see what they suggest.

Thanks for the info. I'm just wanting more power and I do plan do a LT with possibly a 35, it's been referred once, its 2wd and Had a Detroit locker installed too. It will be 600 to regear it again.

Punch your numbers into the grimmjeeper calculator to figure out your RPM with various gear/tire combos and choose what you think will work best for you. Your trans should be a Toyota A340F

You don't need to, just pick the Toyota A340F from the drop down list. It will plug in the ratios for you.
