I feel you, they are family and No one wants to be in that predicament. I'm currently going thru ups and downs with my 13 yr old shih zu. He's been with me since high school and never had a medical issue for those 13 yrs until now. The past year I've spend a fortune trying to keep him with me and it's just catching up to him. My wife says he'll live till 18 yrs knowing her luck. They don't have a great relationship it seems my dog is a 1 owner dog and doesn't like anyone else but me. Where as my lab is a friend- a- holic completely the opposite.

LOL! TV is not quite the same as real life. I know who 98% of the people are on base... i try to comingle as much as possible as my boss isn't liked much and I have to keep a good relationship with everyone or when I need help i won't be able to get it...

Plus we have 2 gates and you need a CAC to get in

And that's not mentioning the vet bills. They would tell us to buy these meds.. Weeks go by and we return to the vet like he's exactly the same. They'd be like hmm try these.. weeks go by and we're back at the vet again. They're like he's the same? Ok stop giving him those and give him these... I bugged out on the last visit. My dog is sick, your advise is not working and we're eating the cost of you guessing what would make him better.. Pretty much why we went the natural route, he perked up when the meds wore off. I rarely go to the doctors myself and don't believe in meds personally. We enjoyed the remaining six months with him, wishing it was longer. Me and Fin would enjoy steaks together for dinner. Which was awesome cuz my wife doesn't eat red meat so steak dinners don't happen in my house. That dog was on a throne when he came home.

 

Wonder if itd reach all the way to the bottom of the doors....

Yep. I remember picturing myself doing really bad things at 3AM. Never did them, but the urge was there. W/ that said, I wouldn't give my daughter back to anything in the world and she means more to me than my own life.

 

Girls mature so much faster than boys it's ridiculous... My daughter was walking,talking,eating, and potty trained LIGHT YEARS ahead of my son. It's crazy!

 

Well said. I will imagine the love of a child is the most pure one can obtain.
