If you really want to lift an inch I don't see top plate spacers affecting your ride at all you will just lose 1 inch of up travel. Top plate spacers dont affect preload they just move you strut/coil down. You will need UCAS of your choosing for alignment reasons and to gain extra down travel to compensate for the up travel you lost.

Thanks for the tips! I decided to go with the following:
    Nitto Ridge Grapplers 285/65/18

XD 829 w/machined and dark tint

*custom caps with red logos and small red ring (like the TRD Pro caps)

    Amp Research step bars

    C4 Lo-Pro wench/bullbar/led light combo w/Driving combo S8 squadron pro 30" led light bar - Line-X coated

DB customz grill insert, 20" S8pro squadron driving combo amber led light bar and RGB color changing/backlit toyota logo.

Diode dynamics switch back DRL replacements (DRL/blinked combo)

I thought it was too much trouble for the lift/level above what was stock, a larger tire gives me a little height and requires minor trimming.

Thanks for the advice! I'll post pics when I'm done with mine!

Unfortunately the C4 low pro front insert only comes with smittybuilt wench. I hear great things on warn, but am going with this since it comes assembled/packaged up. Thanks for the tip!

Modifying a stock TRD PRO is blasphemy to the folks around this forum. Good luck with the ass chewing.

And do what the fak you want... you paid for it right. Just don't expect a nod from them.

Haha, thanks TurnLeft. I am well aware of what a few folks think about modifying the stock TRD Pro. I'm not worried about it, just looking for the info from some of the SMEs or guys that have done similar to what I'm doing. Got what I need info wise. After I sell the tires/wheels, and Predator steps, I should be good to go. I'll post pics when I'm done -- thanks for the note.

The suspension on the Pro is killer and OEM. You're on the right track with keeping it, besides anything bigger then a 32" tire and you will have to chop your cab mount and do some fender trimming. Is that really worth it for the additional .5" of clearance 33" tires will give you over a 32" tire. It never was for me. Then again, I'm the dumb ass that sold his truck for a f*%& car....in the process of fixing that and will be back here with a 2018 Tacoma. Enjoy your truck, love the cement colour.

Should have went with SSO. IMO it looks better than the C4.

I'm going with a Pelfreybilt hidden mount. I don't want to cut up my bumper.

Oh and Southern Style OffRoad is in Baton Rouge. You could take a over night trip over to them and have it installed.

You would need new UCAs after simply adding that small spacer??

Considering that the truck comes 1 inch lifted and your increasing it another inch for 2 inch total lift. 3rd gens max lift is 2 inches and can cause problems with alignments so UCAs would make alignment spot on and give you travel that you lost from the lift. Some people can get away with out UCAs, but IMO its not worth cheaping out on. Also it gives more caster adjustment to run 285s without rubbing, but a CMC might be needed depending on the wheel offset.
