Locker question. So when in the snow and open/open, driftin is fun and all but can one get down with the rear locked or am i gonna end up with problems?

locked on ice wont be to sressfull on the rear but if you suddenly get grip you could blow the rear. We all know its a weak rear. Not saying you cant still do it you just risk what you risk now without the locker.

 

Anyone have a good junk yard or recycling place? Looking to locate a 4th gen headliner w/o sunroof.

Alright, any reason not to order a 60" Hi-Lift Xtreme? Any problems using one with stock lifting points? Other option I was looking at is a bottle jack with baseplate,

 

Whats a stock lifting point for a hilift?

 

I mean on a truck without sliders or bumpers etc to lift from. Like a stock truck.

 

You don't need a hilift then cuz you wont be able to use it. get a bottle jack

 

They do make extensions but you have to look around for them.

The hi lift lift bar thing isn't long enough to get to the pinch seem on the bottom of the trucks rocker. I'm not sure the stock bumpers are strong enough to support the truck either.

Dudes that have been to Mojave, how abundant are places to vehicle camp?

I've got a bachelor party near Lake Arrowhead in big bear. Looking to drive down to mojave tonight and camp out before making the rest of the drive.

Any good spots?

 

@Moogle you could get an attachment for the receiver in the rear and they make attachments for rims. It could be useable. Not that I would waste my money one if I wasn't lifted. They also make a great come a long. Now if I didn't have a winch or a come a long, that in itself is a good reason to have one.

Yeah, I'm lifted, hence why I'm looking for a new jack setup. Obviously the versatility of the hi lift is more appealing in the long run, but for now I really just need to be able to get a wheel off.

 

Moogle, I'm just curious, "Astrocat" (or is that A5trocat?) have anything to do with astronomy ?
