    Less of a joke but the Alaska SP are always hiring. I just got on USA jobs and there are several positions posted on there. If all else fails be a fur trapper and live off the land. Just watch The Revenant a few times, their just stupid animals.

    As much as I would love to, I couldn't take a job with the SP. Blew my back out while I was active duty, and it isn't anything that's treatable. I decided to go back to college after I was medically retired and will be transferring to UAA, so just going to get some part time gig until I graduate.

    Between the GI bill and I presume a med retirement you got some time. Look into some internships and hope it leads to something. Most of all enjoy the experience of living up there!
