Ok so since these are only 20watt lights I'm told they are plug and play if you want to pay for the connectors but I'm cheap so I just ordered the lights and figured I'd wire the straight and shrink wrap them. So they came with plug connectors already wired and the male end of the plug for me to wire! Sweet I thought just wire the male plug from the truck plug it in and good to go? Well nothing worked I troubled shot for a bit switching wires i.e. Hot/cold and nada. I decided to take the plugs out of play and go straight wire to wire with no results. Am I missing something? I've wired all the aftermarket lights on my truck and no idea what's up any ideas or suggestions or even hey idiot you need to do this would be rad!!!!thanks for the help

Are both pods not working? That would let you know if you got a bad pod or not. If it's both, then I'd guess the wiring is off somehow and the units are not defective. Also, IIRC, when I wired my Rigid Duallys to the OEM fog wires directly, white is always positive for the OEM units (I believe Baja does the same with their wires, too). If you were mixing wires, you probably blew a fuse also -- so I'd check that, too.

I did not try both pods I just tried the one. If I did blow a fuse where would I find that exact fuse? When I initially wired it I did wire it positive to positive and nothing worked

So I wired up the passenger side with no results either any idea where the fuse is si I can check it? This is frustrating lol lights have no damage so I doubt I received two duds

Open the fuse box in the engine bay; inside the cover there's a diagram that shows which one is for the fog lights.

That's the fog light relay, not the fuse.

There is a Baja Designs thread in the lighting forum and a rep usually swings by every day or two to answer questions.

so start off just hooking the wires to the battery to make sure the lights work. if they do, then go from there, check the fuse, if thats good, check that the relay is turning on, if thats good, keep going down stream.

Ok so the lights work straight to the battery so how do I make sure the relay is working just replace it? Start with new fuse and relay and hopefully it works?

That fuse looks blown to me, but maybe it is just the picture. I'd start with the fuse. Glad to hear the lights work fine connected to the battery!

Agreed I actually heard the spare in the box blow. And comparing to other surely blown. So what's the fix? Get a bigger fuse? Any suggestions?

I am running the same lights wired to the same plugs and have not blown the factory fuse, maybe it grounded on something when you were installing them?
