Custom grill questions

hey guys I'm looking into putting a new grill on my taco and I'm lookin for some info/advice. ive seen a handful of custom grills for sale but I think I could save some money doing it myself plus I think it would be a fun project. Wondering where the best place to buy a new grill is to work with (early 2nd gen model) and also curious what materials people use to back the grills, different kinds of mesh and whatnot. thanks for the help

What are you looking to do? I have a custom homer taco grill I made (used for a year). I'd get rid of it, you just have to tranfer your painted or chrome grille fascia onto it. I'll post a pic tomorrow

Ive seen a ton of Tacos with the mesh grills and I like the look, but I want to do something a little different since I want it to be a little more unique for my truck...saw a thread with some concepts ive never seen before and I want to give fabbing one a try

 

Really like the look of your custom grill did you design it or is it a kit?

I have on my to do list is the raptor style lights in the grill. I'm running a rigid industries grill now with a 20" bar
