His acquittal on the double homicide was irrelevant. He was still found guilty on the Lloyd murder, convicted, and the state has a mandatory sentence of life without parole. His defense was "appealing" the Lloyd conviction over the acquittal, on the basis of the Lloyd murder being motivated by his need to cover up the double homicide the year prior.

As I've discussed elsewhere, this is (was) an appeal that had less than a 0% chance of succeeding. It was the equivalent of throwing a pebble at a tank and hoping it slips through a gap in the paneling and falls into the engine. If I was a guessing man, his attorneys explained this to him, where he thought he might have actually stood a chance at being released if he was acquitted on the double homicide. Once he was frankly told he was still hosed, he probably hung it up, no pun intended (honestly). That, or the guilt got to him. Consensus is that he committed the crime, but couldn't be convicted on account of weak evidence. His conscience might have made that too much to bear; he was a gangbanger, not a sociopath. Consequence is a hard pill to swallow for someone whose empathy doesn't manifest until well after the fall of innocence.

I neither agree or disagree, because I really have no idea. I thought he was a piece of shit from the beginning , and of course the natural hatred for the Patriots.
Although part of me thinks he was hung by a cell mate or two. Or would like to think he was.

You might simply try resetting to stock first by removing the carrier bearing drop and see what happens. If that doesn't help then X2 what @Star-Lord said.
