Im good. The sticker gb seems to be going well. Tomorrow night I leave for New Braunfels for a weekend of booze and floating the Guadalupe.

 

Earlier this month some asshole hit her on the freeway and then just drove off. She got a description, but no plates.

She's ok, but did have to go to the hospital because the strsss and adrenaline caused early contractions.

Long story short, we got her car back today and it's all fixed up.......and the police have ID'd the driver!

Gonna have a road trip this summer. 2,000+ miles to South Dakota and back for MsWalla's HS reunion. Think I might rent a car and keep the miles off the truck.

 

But, all that wheeling available.

 

Whaaaat? Shit man I spent at least a week if not a month every summer on the Guadalupe river. Usually further West though. New Braunfels is great because it's only like a 3 hour drive vs a 5 hour drive to my usual spot on the river.

He also totaled a Prius in the process with an 8 year kid in the back. That guy should be locked up.

 

Yeah, there won't be wheeling in the trip plan, unfortunately. Mainly 'cus I don't want to tear up the truck 1k miles from home. We limped back one year on a bad clutch master cylinder. Drove 800 miles and stopped twice. That was enough of a thrill to get me thinking about Avis for this one.

 

Sometimes I venture away from my normal threads and I'm like, "Who the fuck ARE these people??"

Guam is a day ahead, but I have to travel west to Japan first, which means I'd go even further back in time, only to fly east to the west coast that I believe is 7 hours ahead time wise but not by the day......
