$5,000/day would be for 250 people...

    based on last year's attendance...125 trucks x $20 x 4 days = $10,000

    and what @Gramps said

Do we not have any other connections in moab? I can't imagine someone doesn't have a lot they would love to rent out.

What's the big deal if we all can't camp with each other. People generally hang out and run trails with there "clicks" anyway. Maybe have one evening somewhere for dinner, raffle, bonfire and drunken shenanigans but other than that go where you want. There are a lot nicer camp areas than BFE.

it's a matter of where to have this dinner, raffle and bonfire...if it's not on private lands, you will need permits

yeah that's a issue of sorts. but like stated we are all going but it would be cool to roam to other campfires with a bottle of wiskey in one and a bottle of coke in the other and a back up bottle of Jack in my back pocket. Just saying.

Full length Rocky Mountain Rack with 40" lightbar, Alternating strobe rear dust lights. I used a warm weekend in March 2022 to finally install my brand new from old stock 2000 4Runner driver's seat. $800 directly from the factory in Sapporo, Hokkaido, Japan.
I don't get on here as often as I'd like so I tend to read 100+ entries at a time. From what I read before & quoted above, the argument seems to be gaining for the multiple campsite plan somewhere other than BFE. Just my $0.02, but 6 months out, couldn't we just take over the KOA or the campground(s) at the lake with synchronized reservations? Also, regarding the last quote, at $5k/day is it just possible that Val is a visually altered Ferengi?

By the way, has anyone else heard of or thought about going to this? http://www.sloffroadexpo.com/
