This was my second in 60k miles but I do a lot of highway driving and not much off-roading.

 

I don't off road but usually once a year tops unless it feels like it needs it in between. I might go longer this year because I'm no longer driving back roads in Cambridge. Those roads beat the shit out of my front end on both the Tacoma and the F150.

 

Probably once a year, usually after the winter / potholes have thrown it off. Or as needed depending on how much damage I do to it

 

I have never had this truck aligned... and I'm pretty sure nether has the previous owner. So.... 133k year round driving ~ these are going to give me hell. I'm going to start soaking them in PB plaster tonight for the next two weeks and see what my luck is like. I ordered the 4xinnovation shackles last night along with the prothane super grease.

@mach1man001 do you have a press to push a wheel bearing out of a spindle? I have a brand new wheel bearing for the passengerside to drop in but the driverside is basically brand new as of like 5k ago.

Depends on the vehicle. My newer vehicles have always just gotten them when I have tires installed, unless I notice something's wrong while I'm driving it or rotating the tires. The '84 seems to need one every spring, but it gets beaten up by bad roads, a plow on the front, and torque through the front axle. The '69 has had one every year so far, but that's because I keep replacing parts, lol.

 

You don't need to use a press to remove the wheel bearing from the spindle. It's 4 bolts.

 

Oh hm... Alright the toyota tech who did my driverside one said he had to press it out it was so bad. But he also said it was filled with murky mud water from my last trip out so maybe it was just fubared beyond belief...

 

Judging by my tires, not often enough...

 

I tried the vape thing for a year and it just got to the point where I was on a constant nicotine high so I cut the vaping out - plus it was just starting to get cool in the car scene and was the "in" thing so that persuaded me to quit vaping even more. Especially since I owned a Subaru at one point...

Was just curious about how often people get them, since I think I get them often. I usually get about 3 or 4 a year. I average 22k miles a year on my truck currently with at least 2 road trips a year plus wheeling. Tires currently have roughly half tread on load range C with about 40k miles on them

Yea man I tried the vape stuff for awhile, but it made me feel shitty and have me chest pains. My buddy that owns the vape shop/phone repair stores actually talks people out of it that aren't trying to quit smoking
