    Keep in mind once you receive it you're supposed to let it sit still and upright for 24 hours before plugging it in to make sure the refrigerant settles in the compressor properly after shipping, so I'd avoid having it show up at the last minute.

    So, insert Shia LeBeouf meme gif whatever here... DO IT!

    I know!!! Thinking hard about it. I know I will have the money with selling the rigid bar and the Treds at jambo, and selling some rifle parts...

    @trekker

    Did the fridge come with wiring harness to wire it in the truck and the power cable for using it inside the house?

    I comes with a 12V cord and a 110v cord. I'm going to test it in my truck later today to see if the stock 12v outlets have enough juice going to them, otherwise I'll have to wire in another outlet in the back seat area. I know my bed outlet will work just fine, but I'm still undecided where I want to mount the fridge.

    If it's in the bed it'll be kinda high to dig into the bottom of the fridge... if it's in the cab it'll take up more space for clean dry storage...

    Thanks for the info, yea, the problem with the 12v outlets in the truck is that they are not constant on. I can run a heavier gauge wire direct from battery to a 12v outlet pretty easy going down the passenger side.

    I was planning on building a platform behind the passenger seat and mounting it there to keep it inside the truck as it would stay cooler and not get as dirty if it was in the bed under the camper shell. Pretty sure the lid would not fully open, but I can figure that out later.

    Yea, dry storage would be lost with that, but on my Big Bend Trip, I kept the 45qt RTIC in that same spot and did not really have any issues. Going to hopefully figure out a better way to store some stuff in the truck soon anyways, so there is not a lot of space being taken up by things. As long as I have somewhere to store a bag for clothes, a pillow or two, and a small box for smaller stuff, then it would be fine. More than likely going to get one or two more of the yellow top boxes from HD to then store pillows, blanket, and stuff in and throw that in the camper shell.

    You can do the relay mod for your outlets to be constant hot... super easy and well worth it. All you need to do remove the lower dash below the steering wheel, loosen the dash fuse panel and remove the relay on the back side closest to the top left corner. Then you solder the relay contacts together, reinstall the relay, and put it all back together and grab a cold beer out of you truck fridge.

    I may use some of your storage ideas in my quest for the holy grail of camp load outs...

    Eh, I hate messing with the main electrical of the truck. I have a 12V outlet that I was going to install in the bed, but got a full kit instead so I still have that. Was going to mount it under the rear seat and run some better gauge wire to it directly from the battery. That way the front outlets are not taken up since I usually have a dash cam, a phone, a battery pack charging, and such when on the road.

    Yep, I still have a Blue Sea USB outlet that I was going to install in the center console and have it be always on. Just have not done that yet.

    Now for the important stuff: BEER. I got 60 cans and 6 bottles cooling down now. I could probably fit a few more in there if I was determined enough lol

    Earlier this week when it was 80 degrees I put it in the cab, took an hour and a half to get the empty fridge to freezing temps, measuring with a remote thermometer not the fridge thermostat.

    Very nice! I am going to try and work on a way to mount it in the cab this week. I have an idea, just need to see if it will work or not. Did not get the fridge slide for it... so will just have to see.

    Also... 60 cans... holy crap that is awesome! I was thinking like 40 or so. This will be great for longer trips with food and such.

    Hey... could you get me a measurement of the fridge with the door at a 45 degree angle and then fully open... if you have it at 45degrees are you able to still get stuff out of it easily?

    Also they said it should be here Wed or Thursday....
