What would you do if your neighbors yard crew did this to your freshly washed and waxed truck?

Back story... there usually is. Don't talk to the male part of the neighbors. He's a sorta dick. Part of his tree fell on my garage roof a few years back. I had to get on roof and clean all the debris off roof and unclog gutters with said debris in them, used a homer bucket but I did sweep a few twigs and pine needles off under the tree that fell on roof. Dude comes out while I'm on the roof and starts giving me a hard time for getting debris on his tree debris already there... "yeah hi and fuck you too"

Fast forward to yesterday.. yard guys were cutting his grass and trimming @ 7AM in the morning complete with gas powered leaf blowers etc... and I come out to take my wife for a ride to the store and she says hey come look at the side of your truck.... WTF now.... so get out walk around to my truck, passenger side facing A-hole neighbors house... and I see this, next day after I did my annual wash and wax.

Likely not the neighbors fault cause he can't for some reason cut his own grass but his yard crew, likely non-resident aliens... don't give a shit blah blah..

Should I address said yard crew next time the come.. I've done that before when I get woken up at 7am (city not allowed to run machines before 8am city ordinance)? Or address the neighbor?

2 things I'm having trouble with - blowing grass clippings at my truck - can break windows or ding my truck and timing...7am with gas powered leaf blowers (X2) so it's way loud for sure.

Here's pics of the grass that is now stuck to the paint, Likely going to have to clean n wax that side again to get the grass debris off. The whole side of truck is like the 1st pic - front bumper to rear bumper. Grass is stuck to paint... not coming off unless I get in there with some cleaning tools.

Let me get this straight. Your debris fell on his debris? Did I read that right?

    Bummer.

I'd definitely talk to the landscape crew foreman about the 7am thing and bring up that you'd like to move your truck next time before they blow grass all over it.

Completely unrelated to issue, but what step bars are those? They fit so nice and snug to the body. Many I've seen have a big gap.

Don't know what to tell you about the neighbor. 7 am leaf blowers would annoy the fuck out of me. If you know there's an ordinance about it, call the cops next time and let them deal with it.

I would talk to the yard crew. Although your neighbor seems like a dick, it's pretty much the yard crews fault on this.

Yes pine tree, I swept a FEW needles off the roof onto the debris that accumulates under pine trees in HIS yard. Most off of the debris that was on roof I swept up with a dust pan and broom. The last bits off roof and under his tree where they came from!

"Dude it's a fuckin tree bro... you kiddin me right?"

To be honest ya'll both seem to be super nit picky, kinda petty. Your truck isn't permanently harmed, and most wash places do a warantee of sorts on their washes, so take it back for free. If you washed it yourself then its just a little bit more time. As far as the 7 am thing goes, its just getting you up an hour or two early one day a week/month whenever... Do something with that hour other than bitching about being up an hour earlier... Then again that might just be me.

Probably nothing you can do about the time. Most cities have ordinances in place when outdoor work can start and that is typically 7:00am on a week day.

You can try talking to the yard crew and just explain to them what your concerns are. They're people, too, and don't want to have issues anymore than you do.

Bro I usually just get my other pillow and roll over, put extra pillow over head and back to sleep.
That's not a big deal for me, however....

I'm not super happy with gas powered leaf blowers blowing shit at my truck. Next time maybe a broken window or ding from rocks ....

If that does end up happening then they can be held liable for it? Or at least your neighbor can. Great country we live in.

To be fair though, there's a difference between getting up earlier than usual, and getting unexpectedly woken by a leafblower.
