Is the diagram for soldering correct? No need to switch around? Going to get someone to solder it on tomorrow.

The procedure is 100% correct if followed. If you wire directly then the polarity will change.

So for those of us still considering TTaps, what size-color etc. is correct for the job?

The red ones are close to stock color I believe, as he's mentioned before.

I found that the Amber/orange ones cannot produce enough light in the T1 LED package so all the stock colors are red, and it is very hard to tell the difference.

i can tell the difference between the stock dash lights and the red LED's on the 4x4 switch. it does look a little different, but i dont care. it still looks great and the whole color scheme goes together anyway. if anything, the red on the 4x4 switch stands out a bit more :)

I know ya'll keep saying switch the polarity. Can I get it spelled out, lol. Going off of rcbs204's original instructions: White to Green and Red to Green/White. So reverse is White to green/white and Red to Green. I am asking for incase the instructions have been updated or I am just that screwed up! Sorry lol.

    Just installed mine. Thanks rcbs204.

Only complaint I have about mine is, the "4" on my "H4" isnt lit up as well as the rest of the numbers and letters. I can easily fix this, but it looks good enough to me.

    Pretty much stock
Its nowhere close...there is orange and red. In my pictures it looks close but in real life there is quite a difference. The red on the switch is the same color as the needles on your speedometer. It doesn't look out of place but don't be disappointed if you get yours thinking it'll be close to matching your hvac dials and when it arrives you realize its not.
