    You will have minimal rake if you plan to continue having a 3" lift up front. The Dakars net about 2.75" of lift on your configuration. As far as tips for install, do the Dakars before installing the rear shocks. I hope you have an easy time getting the stock leafs out.

    Are you installing the carrier bearing drop kit and extended brake lines as well? Got poly bushings for the Dakars?

    Yes I got the drop kit, bushings, etc. I just want to be able to put something in the bed and not sag like an old lincoln. It was fine till I added the camper and rtt and now someone can even sit on the tail gate and it's sagging.

    Well the Dakar's are beastly so you won't have to worry about sagging any longer

    Lift, armor and such. Money pit, check out the build thread...

    Start hitting the bolts with some penetrating oil a few days before. Hardest part of my install was breaking bolts loose

    Whelp I pulled the front shocks from the coil overs and found the passenger side to be banged up pretty bad which explains why the top nut was threaded all the way without tightening. Looks as if the lower bushing is missing its lower washer which since I had the company I ordered from assemble them I have no idea if it broke off or was never there. Trying to contact them now. The shocks themselves have very little recoil response and since the the top of the passenger side is now worn I have to replace them anyway but I got to say only having them on for 2 years and 30K-40K I am disappointed in how they have held up.

    Finally got my OME lift installed! 885s with dakars and LR UCAs. 285/70/17 Nitto Grappler G2. 17×9 Fuel Hostage wheels 5 BS and 1 offset. Minimal trimming. Need to trim just a bit more on front passenger side, as I'm rubbing slightly in reverse. No CMC. The ride is great! Here's the before and after pics. They don't really do it justice though.     Sorry, I'm a noob... Not sure what cycle the front suspension means. Had it installed at a local shop that specializes in lifts and such.

    As for the rubbing in reverse, I've read other posts where guys have commented about it rubbing in reverse. Why does it rub in reverse but not going forward? Mine only rubs slightly in reverse and turning.

    It means putting the suspension at full stuff and droop and turning the wheels full lock to full lock to see where any rubbing will occur.

    Anyone ever run Dakars with the Eibach 1.6" coils in the front? How's the rake?

    My stock leafs with the single AAL are sagging by the mile and the truck sits level empty with the canopy on top.

    Question! Already have OME 3" kit with an AAL in the rear. Added a shell so now i feel like im nose high again. Should I buy dakars, shackle flip, or both? I kinda want to do both since I plan on adding a rack, plate bumper with tire carrier and other camping stuff. But I dont know if the OME shocks will be able to stretch that far with an unloaded truck bed. Any advice/comments are appreciated :)

    EDIT: after some reading. dakars should do the trick

    Dakars at a minimum. Your stock leafs + AAL won't cut it. The 886 coils up front are ideal for what you plan to do. Dakars + AAL will net you close to 4" in the rear so you'll maintain a 1" rake which you'll want to avoid being nose high under load.
