What do you guys think about running the OME ~2.5" lift kit with General Grabber AT2 265/70R16s for our area? My pops runs the KO2s and likes them but I wanna try something different. I'm trying to keep the truck practical seeing as it's my daily driver.

@Sandman614 ran this lift and tire size til he wore it thin. Now he is on the OME 2.5's. Served him just fine in the area, now on to bigger things.
What will you do for the back springs? I'm sure he has some input on that.

    Interesting article, thanks!
I do disagree some with the article. While I agree with the assessment on coatings, it does mean that you need to know that the plating (nickel or otherwise) is present and in good condition. A little bit of lube is good insurance and helps prevent any dirt you may have missed while cleaning the hole from tightening up your plug prematurely, leaving the plug UNDER torqued. I've never heard of lube creating an overtorque situation, just the opposite actually. ARP in fact recommends that bolts use lube to get the correct torque. NGK and I'm sure others have the right torque for each application.

Lol adding more metal. I don't have a problem with mud, I stay out of it.
This will help mud drain too.

South Raleigh, just thinking about lifting my truck. This was the truck I traded in for the Tacoma.

Want to lift this one up as well. Just don't know any good shops around here for this type of work.

Let me also state that I don't "wheel" my truck. Take it off road in my father in law's hay field is about as off roading as I go. I do want to go 6" (even through I know people HATE those on this forum). Not ready yet but just trying to get some ideas
