It's the frame not the body. Weld a plate on it and 99% of people will never notice :D

I have 1.5 bora in the rear, Hub centric to the oem hub and hub centric to my method rim. no loctite just tight to oem spec . Talked to Lenny and custom wheel offset they both said not to use loctite and lenny said the the loctite can eat the Zinc off the oem stubs and witch will make them rust

Spidertrax provides loctite with theirs. So I guess it’s up to you.

I had Bora 1" spacers for almost 3 years. (77K miles) When I bought new wheels, I no longer needed them. In that 3 years, the spacers were on and off maybe 5 times (brake work, etc...) Wheels were off maybe 15 times (tire rotation, etc...) I never once used Loctite. Never once had a loose lug nut (Inner OR outer...) Unless you experience loose lug nuts WITHOUT spacers, there is no reason to believe you'll have issues WITH them. If the manufacturer suggest Loctite, by all means use it. Not my product liability insurance on the line. But nothing from my experience would indicate a NEED to do anything but properly tighten lugs and go on with life.

    YMMV.

Hang on, here's another zinger for you guys. I used an impact gun as well to torque the lug nuts down.

ZOMG!!! His wheels are going to fall off on the freeway! :D

I'm not worried about the freeway. It's when I've been on dirt for 50+ miles that I don't want something to take a shit!

My wheels stayed on after hundreds of highly abusive off-road miles and thousands of miles in between tire rotations. Easily over 15,000. Not saying anyone has to follow my lead, but it is my very researched findings that my rig was safe. I think most people don't realize or forget that Toyota uses both a lug and hubcentric design in their wheels.

If anything was going to take a shit on me during my time in the dirt it was going to be my suspension not my wheels due to failing wheel spacers or loose lug nut studs and I'm very confident in saying that. Lol.

All I'm saying was why overtighten lugs and possibly introduce another weak point when you don't have to.

This is why we can't have nice things and spacers get a bad rap. Torquing to a proper spec takes an extra couple minutes and you know without a shadow of a doubt it's correct.
