Is the back spacing different on the trd pro wheels? Can I put a taller tire on?

I'm getting my truck hopefully this saturday. First stop I planned was new tires. I budgeted about 1000 for tires. Now I'm wondering if I could get wheels and tires and sell the old (brand new) as a set. Would almost be a wash

I'm actually looking for that blue taco pic as well.

I was originally planning on doing exactly what @BMunster did and go with the Black FJ Trail Teams, but now I'm leaning toward powder coating the factory wheels. Seeing the derped wheels would give me a better idea. I'm really glad you at least posted this pic. Even though it's not the blue one, it helps.

Does anyone have a picture of the FJ 16's on a 2016 tacoma? Off road or sport?

I loved the TRD 4Runner Pro wheels. When I saw the new Tacoma at the autoshow I said, "Those 4Runner wheels would be perfect," but I guess so did about a billion other dudes ... Because they seem to be the most popular wheel. It's like the go to wheel, and it seems like every other truck is getting them.

I'm looking for something else now.

    I'd tell you what I'm looking at ... but ... >.>

I've made past comments about how everyone and their mom has the SEMA Pro wheels on their 16s. After thinking on it and as others have mentioned, it's only apparent on this forum and not so much IRL. I have SCS wheels, but wouldn't hesitate for a second to put these on as well. No matter how many 16s I've seen with SEMA Pros on this site, they're still badass.

I have the sport wheels. I tossed and turned because I just didn't care for how they looked on the truck. The overall appearance was....blah

My intention was to buy TRD Pro 4Runner rims and tires, but couldn't stomach an additional $1500+ when I technically just bought wheels and tires.

Ultimately I went with installing some KO2's on the stockers. If I didn't like the look I could always add the wheels at a later date and spread out the cost. The combo looks significantly better. So much so, I don't vacillate over the TRD Pro wheels anymore.

I bought then sold the TRD Pro wheels. I decided I wanted to stay at the stock tire size. I do want an all black wheel though so I'm going to have the stock wheels painted. I've seen a few Sport wheels dipped here which is what steered me in that direction.

Not bad choices from the folks above. I said I would upgrade my 13 Tacoma but never did so now that I have my 16 I'm going too darn it !!! Lol

The Pro Wheels are stunning even though everyone on this forum has them for the most part. There must be a reason.

Do the 4Runner TRD Pro wheels only come in 17's or in 16's as well?

Stock OR wheels. This is why I haven't changed mine out, can't find any to replace them with.
