    BTW..."Birthday Bash" @ Dirty Turtle starts today and runs through Sunday. SXS races, Jeep XJ races, etc....There will be more rusted out beat up jEEp XJ's in one place at one time than in the history of man. All the check engine lights in one place should be visible from the Space Station.... May swing by Saturday afternoon if the rain isn't excessively heavy. Probably not though...

    From what I read, today is the anniversary of Dirty Turtle opening. Can't do much about when your birthday happens I guess....

    That said, after going several years, you couldn't pay me to go to Thunder again.

    I understand a birthday is a birthday but there no doubt will be loss of business doing it this weekend. I'm not much on Thunder either but people still go in droves. Air show is legit!

    Air show will almost for sure be rained out/low ceiling. 90% chance of rain/under 500' ceiling predicted. Military jets won't fly exhibition with ceilings that low.

    Not sure what percentage of potential audience for one would attend the other.

    And DT sold tickets in advance for tomorrow evening (concert) and Saturday....Sold out.

    Ahhh, it's that time of year again. Doorbell rang at about 3:30 as I was snoozing (I'm currently on nights) I rolled out of the bed and cracked the shades... Jehovah's Witness. I wish I hadn't been so sleepy and nude, I love talking with those guys! Especially when the wife is at work and I can let my true colors show.

    I'm in Richmond/Berea. I have stickers in the back window but I have Army plates. I also saw a super nice speedway blue Tacoma at the Natty Guard center on my way to work tonight. Looked like it had some stuff done to it.

    It was a magnetic grey, pretty sure it had marine plates, drove by my magnetic grey as I was getting out of the truck, I have air force plates. Was in my development off of 52 West out of richmond towards Waco and Irvine.

    Keeping this front and center! Group meet on May 20/21st @ Badlands Off Road Park in Attica Indiana. There will be a group meeting to convoy from Cincy area as well as a group leaving from Louisville area. Hope to join up BOTH groups at first rest park on I 74 west of Indianapolis (Around 9AM) Anyway, logistics may change, but the dates are locked in. We'll be meeting up with a contingent from Midwest Overlanders once we get to Badlands. A few are TW members, some from Illinois, others from Indiana. Less than 4 weeks!
