    Hey everyone,
This is gonna be my first trip to Moab. I am hoping to make it there by the 13th! The next few weeks I will be prepping my 04 4cyl 4x4 with a 2.5" lift probably some new tires and all the regular maintenance to prep for a cross country trip.
Is anyone going to be there around then? Want to meet up along the way? would be stoked to meet some TW people. Also any advise for this type of trip would be sweet! Thanks guys!
I will post plenty of pictures as I go!
    Thanks again for any input.
    Jack

Moab is a cool town, lots of things to do besides wheel. I didn't make it to arches, that on my list next time I go.

If I remember right, Hells Revenge wasn't that difficult. If you are slightly built you should be able to go where the side by sides go.

Thanks for the insight! I'm definitely stoked to be going! Any trails with minimal damage and views are cool! I'll probably try to test my limits at some point there but with minimal armor it may come quicker than I'd like. I'd also love a trail or two that lets you get on the gas

Gemini Bridges is a faster trail, a bit of 4wd to start then I made dust fly through the rest of it.

You might like White Rim Trail for the views.

A group of us from Alabama are going to be there the week before you. See link in my signature. We will be coming home on the 13th. The thread in my signature has TONS of information about some proper planning and preparation.

I'm planning on being in Moab on the afternoon of the 18th and morning of the 19th and am planning on hitting some trails. I'm not too familiar with offroading in the area but I'm thinking Gemini Bridges and Fins and Things would be fun. Hopefully my lift kit shows up and I can get it installed by then

I have a big group of friends coming down that weekend (the 19th) and I'll be heading down my likely by myself on the 18th to find camping spots for everyone
