3rd Gen---BTLM + LED Retrofit

Still waiting for LED panels to get produced. Custom parts=custom wait time

In the meantime, I am messing with a new headlight retro(16 projectors), modding mirror signals, and gathering tail lights so I will have a ample amount all ready to go.

Also.. messing around with something pretty cool in the reverse bucket(no chrome!) I'll post pics.

 

I don't have a 3rd Gen but this is how Toyota should have done it. Great work!

 

well put me on the list for order if/when you make these available for purchase. the wife loves the look of these if she could put them on.

 

Cut some more tails, but can't seem to get them to fit the Tacoma



Update on Taco tails:
Original panels still waiting for production.
SO... in the mean time I decided to try out a different style LED
Meet the COB:




My new test samples coming in will have each of the 3 bars made entirely from a COB LED.
No need for diffusion...although it does line up perfectly with the factory lens.(after few attempts)

Had to look up what COB LEDs were. Very very cool stuff and itll be fun to see how this goes!

Well....my new boards are done! They are currently in transit, so I should receive them soon..I can't wait!!! So much time/effort/R&D has gone into these, I am stoked to finally get them finished.

And just for fun... I had them make some custom Amber COB boards. These are designed to fit perfect in the side mirror turn signal housings ( For the Ultimate LED upgrade I offer)

Looks awesome man. I've been doing some 2nd gen. Definitely need to mess around with some third gens as well as third gen headlights. Anyone wanna help me kickoff 3rd gen headlight retrofits!
