Oh, you went with carpet on the inside? I was thinking hardwood paneling looks nicer.

Yeah I decided to go for it. I think it feels a little more insulating, and I like that I can just velcro stuff to the sides. Hardwood would be interesting to see though. How would you go about installing it though? Just glue it on?

Yeah, probably silicone caulk. It would be good to have something more substantial to mount stuff onto. I bet if I used peg board with some spacers and wood vener over that, this could work out pretty cool too. I don't need any insulation on the sides since it's pretty well insulated since it's aluminum sheet over honeycomb. The sides use the composite panels, the front and rear hatch are uninsulated sheet. I wish they were likewise insulated aluminum composite panels since it would give some additional rigidity to the hatch and insulation cabside.

This guy used mango wood veneer. Looks good.

I just had a moment. I could use cork board mounted with velcro. Then it'd be removable if I ever want to replace it.

Might be able to see if @zscott (Prinsu) could sell a shorter version of the DCSB rack. The middle mount will be close. The 10- series T-slot bars are really versatile and the system would probably be less expensive than the K9.

I can do a shorter one now problem. Haven't had a ton of reuqests for it (other than goose gear) so I don't produce one in big numbers.

Gonna build one out of alum. A wind deflector trey if you will to hold my solar panel, not a fan of heavy weight high up. Center of gravity will be bad enough with Habitat.

Meant to post some of these earlier, but I was trying to find a way to embed them as an album or something, rather than just posting them all individually.

More pics from Death Valley, I may have taken too many photos of my truck...

Why did you go with the white panels on the side?

Like the white vinyl vs raw aluminum? To be honest it didn't occur to me that it was an option, it's just how it came without paying for color matching. I guess if I want I can try removing it, but I also don't mind it either. I kind of feel like it's better to not try to match the paint instead of only sort of but not really matching.

Well, when I get my habitat back and it doesn't have the scratches for my instagram on it, I know where it went.
