I remember when I had my shoulder surgery the anesthsiologist gave me Ketamine . That's some wild stuff and gives you a good trip while waking up in the post op

 

I was up all night. Couldn't sleep. Called in sick. Got a few hours this morning.

 

Hope your sleep cycle gets back in sync soon for you. I always feel like crap for a few days when that happens.

In NC at one time we were told used motor oil was the thing to use for termite prevention Of course this was back before all the ground water scare and oil containment principles were put into play.

I was good until the local wore off

 

Ketamine is basically a horse tranquilizer , when you wake up your senses are all jacked up . you hear voices but you can't see and you get bed spins

The doctors call it special K

 

When I had my knee replacement surgery the Anesthesiologist asked if I wanted general anthesia or a local and additional nerve block

Guess what this Marine requested , yep nerve block so I could stay awake during surgery !!
