Awesome man. Yeah, that's definitely going to be the most time consuming part of the job. I plan to just go with a weld on setup at this point. A few less bolts to check over and since I plan to box in the C channel completely, I wouldn't have to do extra work to slot the plates to accommodate the bolts.

That's actually a really good point man, didn't even think of that. You still looking to do the dmz route?

    That works too!

I'm terrible and can't make up my mind man. For ease of install, a bolt on kit like the Camburg or Giant for example will be alot faster for me to setup than a DMZ kit in one weekend.
On the other hand, the Dmz kit is nice since you don't have to worry about those bolts. If I go the DMZ route, it's just a matter of making sure 100% that the hangers are in the right location.

How much is it? You could always wait for DMZ to finish their kit which he is expecting to have done in a month or so. That might delay your timeline though. From what I hear, I like the DMZ bed cage as it only utilizes the tops of the wheel wells for the tube penetration instead of running along the inner portion of the bed.

You would have to check out some of his customers builds, but he plans to upload it to instagram soon. Supposedly it will mostly reside along the perimeter of the front of the bed with a few support tubes going through the middle of the wheel well area at a 45 degree or so. He is trying to keep his at around 1500 raw. Partly because of this cage, I am def committing to a DMZ rear. Also I like that King sells bypasses made exclusively valved for his kit as well since the owner of King runs his kit on his personal ride.

I assume for rear LT? I would def recommend rear glass so that you don't cause an explosion/tear tires. Im thinking about 2k for the LT kit. 1600 for the shocks, possible 1500-2k for a bed cage and another 800-2k depending on how much welding the giant rear might require/factory removal. I would get atleast 6000 ready, but if you have hook ups you could pay less.

Damn straight you got to pay to play. Once you experience LT though, you will see why folks seldom want to get rid of theirs!

How many of you guys are crawling with you SUA kits? Does the decreased clearance really make that much of a difference?

I wanna go fast and crawl over shit too. Is that too much to ask?

I'd say yes. I'd prefer not to lose the advantage of leaf springs for towing / bed weight.

How much more would 4-link cost than the SUA kits?
