I'm thinking that will be a total loss or pretty close to it.

Depending on the frame. Just body panels, can either live with it or go from there.

    Lol... NOT.

That sucks bad for dude that got hit. Body work sucks and truck will now never be the same. I only buy used vehicles as long as all vins match on the body. Learned the hard way.

No idea, it's tilted forward a little but other than that it should be in the stock spot

Just spoke to Deaver, Jeff suggested I run a spring under kit with my 14" shocks. Not neccesarily what I wanted to hear, I want a pretty straight forward bolt in application. I am relocating my shocks but should I really go all out with the spring under? I know the 96 leaf springs are short but I am only running mid travel up front

That's a few thousand just in body panels, paint, labor. Either way the door post is going to have to be pulled and the lower rocker replaced.

Not disagreeing with that but he can just take the $ and find someone selling their LH door assemblies. I think there's a guy here with a DC that has some for sale. Just a matter of repainting. Even I could repaint the doors myself, no labor cost there. Rocker panel might be a thing to just let be, it's an old truck.

You're not going to get more than 10" of travel out of those springs.

Either spring under, or sell those shocks and get 10" shocks.

Maybe I'm just not passive, but the person who hit me would be having this pumpkin rammed up their bunghole. There's no way I'd accept anything less than a complete professional repair or a fair value settlement in the event it's a total loss.

I have a relocation that I'm planning on touching through the bed with.

Is my rear really going to outride my front?

Well, go cycle you springs and report back. Haven't done it on 95-97 springs but you probably have 8-9" of usable travel with stock mounts. 14" shocks would be completely unnecessary. Whereas you could actually use all the travel those shocks provide with SUA.

Outride is relative and based on valving and what you're doing etc.

Front mid-travel has like 9" of travel.
