Cat and 02 sim

    Has anyone installed the aftermarket catalytic converter and the 02 simulater from URD ?..i think im going to do that ...we dont have emissions test here just standard inspections...will it turn off the CEL codep0420..

    Yes, it should turn that code off but you won't need an aftermarket CAT. Several members here have gone this route with success.

    I have seen a few members here purchase a Walker aftermarket CAT from them and actually have the code go away.

    I would suggest one of the following options:

    A) purchase just the O2 sim. It will resolve your code issue

    B) purchase just the CAT and see if it resolves the code issue. If it doesn't, then purchase to O2 sim.

    K&N cold air intake, doug thorley headers, rear sensor simulator, flowmaster 40 series, magnecor plug wires, Royal Purple synthetic gear lube, airaid throttle body spacer, Hyperground system, flex-a-lite elec fan.
    agreed, I have the sim and works great. I had to get the sim because I bought a magnaflow high flow cat that was guranteed to be legal. It tripped a code in 2 weeks. DO NOT BUY A MAGNAFLOW CAT. My exhaust guy said all the ones he ever sold were brought back. If your alright not running one just get the sim. Just gut your current one.
