I have the toytec ultimate lift for my tacoma. When originally installed the mech said the rear aal system will wear in and sag a little, which it did. I'm reading about the 5100 bilsteins i have on it, and it sounds like they are adjustable? Also, he left the front coilovers at about 3 inches. I know if i put them at 3 1/2 i'll need after market UCA's. Is there anyway I can lift the rear more? I'm guessing with block spacers under the leaf springs...

Another thing he said was that the camber on my front wheels is adjusted all the way out. So if I raise it all the way, my wheels are gonna be tacoed out and wear funny i think. Any suggestions? thanks.

Get UCA's for your allignment in the front, and try not to go more then 3" or 3.25" lift bc of your CV angles. And for the rear, If you dont want to get a new leaf pack, I would just through in a 1" block like I did. :)

I have the same kit on mine except I added the LR UCA's to the package. My alignment is virtually perfect. As far as the rear goes I have had the TSB performed by the dealer and when I got my kit I ordered the AAL with the TSB. The back hasn't sagged at all but the front settled a bit which was taken care of with a simple adjustment of the CO's.

Do you put any extra weight in the back?
or do you never carry anything?

I never really carry anything heavy at all. I was definetly considering the 1 inch block setup. I'm sure its a rougher ride though...

With the toytec ultimate lift kit, is the rear AAL system the TSB? I'm confused.

Thanks for the help with the UCA's. I'm sure thats my next investment. OME is a good brand for those I hear...

I don't have any updated pictures of my truck, its still about the same as in my profile pics though

Should i go with OME UCA's or LR UCA's?

One more question for jrobson, or whoever can answer, he says he has the 5100 bilsteins with the TSB AAL system. What is the TSB part? I have the toytec ultimate lift kit so do I have that same system? His rear end also looks higher than mine....

I have the toytec ultimate kit as well, love it. I had the tsb done and used the tsb aal and ended up putting on the ome leaf pack a couple of weeks later due to mine sagging in the rear, I think the basic issue is that that toyota leafs tsb or not are not known to be the greatest. So far I love my ome leafs much better.Just my 2.Good luck.

I love the lift too. I think i deceded to go with the 1 inch block kit for the rear, because i don't carry anything heavy. I'll stick with the toytec AAL. The 5100 shocks should handle it. As for the front i'll get the Light Racing UCA's. This totals about 540$.

I looked at the OME leaf springs, I don't haul anything that heavy to need that. Or TSB. I think a block kit will be ok. I have a couple weeks to decide.

If you need a little more lift, you can do that without much change to the ride if you have had the tsb performed.

No, our TSB AAL does need to be paired with the leaf packs that have had the TSB performed by the Dealer. It's not a new pack, just an AAL for that pack. Make sense?

We have been selling the Light Racing UCA's and have had no troubles.

They work very well! Plus we offer a forum discount on them :)

The tech at the lift shop here was saying that they can do LR uca's or OME uca's so i don't know. I'm going to go LR though.

The block kit is only like 80 bucks so i'll go with it. If it sucks then oh well. Time to save up for the OME leaf pack i guess.

I understand the TSB thing now. I didn't have that done. I have the stock leaves with the toytec AAL. An inch block should do.

Any of you guys have problems with the 5100's lower gromet wearing out? Mine wore completely out and is missing so the shock clangs around the mount. I'll get it fixed with the lift.

Thanks for all your help guys.

OME doesn't make UCAs so that would be kinda hard to do.

Ok Im guessing they don't then. Oh well. I'm gonna get the LR ones anyway. Does anybody have anything to say about the one inch block kit from toytec? It says they work with AAL's.
