    Good start to the weekend. Hosed off the pollen and installed one of the ram mounts made by @Lostsheep. Heading up to @Mobtown Offroad tomorrow to pick up my GB sliders.

    Very cool I'll be expecting some pictures to be posted. Did you purchase powder coating or raw steel? If you got raw steel I have a functional suggestion if you'd like it

    Very simple. Clean, put a coat or two of por15 on, let cure and scuff, use the do it yourself bed liner 2 coats, then spray a couple of coats of semi gloss black over it for added uv protection. Or get rhinolined. I like the diy option due to these all being items that will take abuse and this will give you the option of easily touching up. That is how all my armor is coated and I like it. I understand this may not be everyone's taste but it's simple, relatively easy, and practical

    :rofl::rofl::rofl:

    Love some ODB!!!

    Yeah, I was going to go the Por15 plus a topcoat route. I'll probably do the bumper and skids just smooth (to match the ARB front) and put some bedliner on the sliders for a little grip, cause I know they'll get stepped on.

    Logical idea except I'd do the skids with bed liner also because they are 1: under the truck where they won't be seen, and 2: they'll get the most abuse so ease of touch up would be paramount imho

    I'm not gonna lie, I wore out my Return to the 36 Chambers CD in high school. :D

    True. Might see how much I have left after the sliders.

    You can go to Wally World and get a quart of the bedliner plus the installation kit for around $30. The por15 here was about $40 for a pint which was more than enough and I'd imagine you can get cheaper through work. Perhaps you could even work with soft taco and go together on supplies and both benefit by saving moneys. These are just my ideas and why. With your back ground I'm sure you have some options or ideas that are perhaps better but these are practical and efgicient

    Steven you can also get the aerosol bedliner also by rustoleum but I believe more exspensive and doesn't go on as thick

    I ordered mine bare. The plan is to spray them with rustoleum self etching primer and bed liner. I've got both on hand. Used it on the bed stiffeners I installed last weekend.

    Definitely going to let the sliders cure longer than I did the stiffeners. I sprayed the stiffeners Friday evening and installed them on Sunday. The bed liner was still a little soft.

    Very smart! I did mine when it was cooler so had to let sit for a while. The only benefit I see to the roll on with the sliders is a thicker coat but that is entirely personal preference. All you guys with your sliders and bumpers this is cool stuff can't wait to see. Would be nice if could get it together for our first ever mod day. I know it's tuff with our thread we are all so spread out

    The rustoleum bed liner sprays on pretty thick. I've never used the roll/brush on liner, so I can't compare. However, it definitely goes on thicker than normal spray paint.
