Like some of the older 80s and 90s bumpers that were made out of pipe or tubing. They sat kinda high and the spare tire was exposed

Running the stock SR5 through Anza Borego on some mild trails/washes and it did great, OEM mini van tires and all. Could defiantly use a little lift to gain some ground clearence though, if only I could decide which setup to go with.

Bought my first Tacoma 1 month ago, love it!
Replaced the tires for bigger A/T tires and dipped the badges black. Will be installing ICI Magnum RT steps next month, wrapping the rear bumper caps, and a new grill. IMG_0789.jpg

    It's a V6, I wanted a 4x4 but I haggled too good a deal on the 4x2 and couldn't pass up. Next Tacoma will be 4x4.
Also, the 4x4 I would have gotten didn't come with all the options this one came with.

Finally pulled the trigger and got myself a Taco. I've been looking at them for the longest time. Saved about 20K to put towards a 16 but when I showed up to the dealership in Pensacola, they didn't have any I wanted and it was going to take at least a month. Needed a car since I just moved to the area from Guam so I ended up settling for a 2004 Wrangler. It was fun while it lasted, but I quickly realized JEEP stood for "Just Empty Every Pocket." Felt like I was waiting for something to break on it all the time. Had the last straw a two weeks ago when one of the universal joints gave out as I was exiting the freeway. Luckily, my girlfriend's dad was able to help me fix it and it only cost me $11 for the part, and $60 on dinner. Found myself at the dealership a few days later. My girlfriend was good friends with a manager who gave me 8K for the Jeep. Lowered the price down to $34K. All in all, brought it down to $30k cause I was a sucker and got the extended warranty. I knew I was going home with the truck when the salesman tossed me the keys and had me to around the block with it.
