Myself and a couple other people have experienced corrosion issues with the switch pros, Not just on the aluminum body but actually inside of the 16 pin connector. Mine got to the point that my SP kept resetting itself because the switch panel would not communicate with the base, all I had to do was clean out the corrosion to get it to work again but... it sucks it happened.. So I've been in contact with SP and they've asked for a few photos of mine because they haven't heard of this issue before and if it is an common issue they will look in too a redesign to fix this issue for future versions. So now I'm curious how many other people are having this issue? I've only had mine for about eight months, And the water must've gotten in there from normal carwash kind of stuff.. If there is any abnormal corrosion in there, (Or even just on the faceplate) feel free to PM me an image and I can forward it to switch pros

About 15 months on mine and no corrosion. I've disconnected mine twice in the last month. I'll be rewiring mine next week and will take another good look at it.
I don't use cleaning chemicals and seldom clean the engine bay.

Wonder if a little dielectric grease when it's installed would help? Mine is still fresh so if I can prevent any issues that would be best.

Here's a question. Mine is mounted vertically (plug on the side). @ROK-NJA, I see your's is mounted plug up. How are the others with corrosion mounted? Curious if they are all plug up?
