2'' forward on the front hanger. 1'' back on the rear.

That still won't let you run a 14'' shock though.

Hard to tell on my phone but it looks like the same wire harness I almost tapped into for my switchbacks.

Best guess for me was that it goes to my non existent ignition ring light.

That can't be true for that one for me because I installed a ring light. :p

    Well there goes my theory.

Did you test that harness to see if it only comes on with the ignition?

When I tested mine it was dimmable but it was always hot. Also opening and closing the driver door had no effect on it.

In a basket on a second gen. Every bit of it was "fuck that noise" to me. Unless you really enjoy power lifting 33's or 35's over your head.

Not to mention the amount of drag when driving.

It is actually a good point, even with a swingout, if you can't lift the 33 or 35'' tire up off the ground on onto a swingout that is on a truck with 2-4'' or lift by yourself..may not want to go there..

I would have no problem getting it onto a swingout. But trying to wrangle it off the roof would just be a pain in the ass. I guess i just like the looks of a roof rack with a spare never really thought about how bad of an idea it actually is. And on a side note i have no idea if my toy is actually lifted or not, but im running 33s and they only rub ever so slightly offroad fully locked.

Good lord id never put a tire on the roof. Way to high. Cause drag. You'd feel it in the corners...
