This one will be a bit different from what I'm used to. The one I have now has a 4.5x7" HD touch screen on it. The new one is a industrial model with the typical industrial machine panel of touch buttons and a small LCD screen. It will take a couple of days to get used to. The one I have now shows the colors on the screen that you are going to use in the design. The new one you press the color button and enter the number of the colors that are on top in that position. The programming is done by an outside digitizer that I send the artwork to. I can get the sew file back in anywhere from a hour to the next morning. This is something most people are not aware of and I have to pay them for that work. That is what the setup charge is when you go in to a embroidery place. Most don't digitize due to we make money when the machine is running not when it's idle and we're digitizing a file.

Yes I will be doing hats, that is the reasoning of upgrading the machine. The old one was having some issues with catching on the hats and throwing the registration off. That doesn't work out well when you have a dozen expensive Flexfit hats sitting in the corner that are ruined. The new machine also runs a lot faster so I can get more done more efficiently. Main difference in the two is now a tech will have to come to the house to work on the new one because it weighs almost 500 pounds vs 80 lbs for my current one. That relates to more $$$ when they do maintenance. A little difference but worth it in the end.

I figured people are already bugging you about when they're going to get their stuff even though you've been clear there's still a lot to do.

Yeah you can't just hold a pic up and say stitch this. Lol

Not to mention there's more than just stitching it out. After it's done you have to pull the patch from the backing and put the Velcro on it. Then the sorting and time to address everything to ship.

As they pay their shipping address and info gets copied and pasted into a word document for label making and a check list to make sure everyone gets what they ordered. You would be surprised at how many won't use a capital letter and I have to go back and fix that.
