I have decided to do the bilstien 5100, 2.5'' lift. On the front end what type of springs are needed? Also UCA and LCA? Does the rear need anything? Putting 265s, maybe 285s tires..thanks

Bilstein 5100's w/ Eibach coil overs in front (set at 3" of lift). Front diff drop kit. Extended Bilstein 5100's in the rear. Deaver 2" AAL in rear w/ axle shims. 285 x 75 r 16 Goodyear Duratracks. Wheelers steelies type B, AFE cold air intake. Sway bar delete. All Pro Apex front bumper (rattle canned Rustoleum primer + flat black). Plasti-dipped emblems. Mud flaps removed.
It will clear the tires but it will have a goofy rake if you do nothing with the rear.

With 5100's you can do Eibach springs or OME springs as stated above. I would do Eibach with 5100's or do full OME with nitro chargers. In rear Wheelers has 5 leaf replacement packs for 1.5", Icon has progressive 3 leaf pack for 1.5", or do lift blocks. Without control arms your looking at a grand to do it right. Or use 5100's and factory springs for front lift and do blocks in rear for the cheap route.

The reason I didn't go with ome Spring is because Marie at Headstrong said they can make a "thud" when going over bumps. Also, they can corrode if you have winters with salty streets

Welcome! Congratulations on the new truck. I HIGHLY recommend you read the welcome information that was sent to you in the Welcome Message and Learn to Use Search Feature to avoid getting flamed for asking questions that are repeatedly asked here and beaten to death like "what tire size can I fit" "what lift should I get" etc. That will help you integrate smoothly to the TW community.

I have 5100's set at zero with OME 885 coils and a 1/4" spacer on the drivers side for the lean. I have 5100's in the rear with a 2" aal pretty good set up that is relatively inexpensive. There was no need for UCA's because this set up only provided me with 2.5" up front. I am running 265x75r16 tires. Hope this helps and the only dumb ? is the one you never asked good luck and welcome to the world that takes all of your money:thumbsup:
