Does anyone here have rotopax mounts and would be willing to let me borrow them?? I would like to see if i can use the brackets i make to hold rotopax... if it works then i can make a stencil for future use...

 

I have the bases for my rotopax since I have the big universal plate on top of the truck. I have no need for the bases of the mounts.

 

vvvvvvv I need one of these! vvvvvvv Also a rotopax tank would be awesome also. I just want to use it for pictures then you can have them right back!

 

Fine whatever... I offered my bases... but nope you don't want them.

Do you think the base will work for what im trying to do??

Next obstacle is how do i get it in my hands so i can make the mount...

I think a co worker of mine has a jeep with a rotopax tank on there. i bet i could get him to let me use it for pics, could probably get it done in the parking lot too!

 

My truck is still in the shop so no go for this weekend. I will aim for next weekend instead.

The front dif was still leaking at hot springs even after changing the axle a while back so tandem fixed that and wired up my lights and switch pro. I was out of town and did not think I would have time before jambo.

 

I know the area that I'm looking to stay but haven't signed a lease yet. That won't happen until September probably

Ah I see, yea... not sure how I could get them in your hands besides at Jambo.

Should fab up a mount that will work for two 2 gallons and will also work with a 4 gallon one.... best of both worlds.

 

Installed my RCI IFS skid, and in the process found this hiding in the stock oil pan 'splash plate'



Was really hoping it was the source of the buzz/rattle that I hear while in gear at idle, but alas, I still heard the noise while pulling the truck back into the garage. The hunt continues.

 

I just need to get the mounts in my hands so that i can design something.
