Strange request..

Anyone have a laptop or tv swing out mount that they don't need?

Or know where one could find something like that... Just looking for a source for two of the hinges/spindles worthy of supporting 50 pounds and being able to be tightened in a certain position.

Are you able to lock the spindles in any position? Or is there just enough tension that it holds itself?

 

They don't lock in place, but are pretty tight now and are stiff to move. They can be tightened down quite a bit more, but would probably still move if they are going in something mobile. The way the arms fold in you could probably drill through and add a pin.
