Absolutely, just like me, you can tell he's just a small business owner who enjoys the 4 wheeling industry outside of work. He is all over the place always doing cool things. Been wheeling with him a few times.

I wish they still made the HC rear that @HomerTaco has.... the bushmaster is cool but I just can't stand that the bumper doesn't go straight across from the bottom of the tail light

I'm the other way around, if you look at the pelfreybilt one that goes straight under the tail light all the way around, I think it looks goofy and over done. I fee like CBI's is more tasteful. I feel like manufacturers make it go straight across to give the illusion you're getting more clearance with it. I also like that CBI gives a very detailed product description with their stuff to answer Lot of questions and concerns up front. Plus their bumper weights 105 lbs compared to the pelfreybilt that's going to be 190. Weight is always a huge concern for me when it's some thing located where it's going to have a drastic effect of vehicles handling Offroad. Skid plates are somewhere I chose to over build mine and add extra weight because of how low they are and how much of a beating they were going to take and how many people talk about bending their's. But my front winch bumper from CBI weights only 90 lbs, compared to an ARB for example that crosses the scale around 200 before you even put a winch on it

Nice! That's one of the fronts I've been eyeballing... the outer fill plates are the only thing I'm not sure about. You might find me poking around yours at the next meet.

Also, Semper Fi from an old shitter crew chief

Agreed, but that's why I compared CBI HC rear with swing out to pelfreybilt, apples to apples and almost double the weight. I've also installed plate bumpers (non ARB) on other toyotas, the most recent example was on a 5th gen 4Runner and install was nearly impossible with out an engine hoist with two people because of the weight. My point being was that CBI doesn't just build an awesome product but they're also conscious of the implications a heavy product has on your vehicle's handling. It wasn't a shot as pelfreybilt at all, they were just an easy example to use because they advertise weight on all their products right on the website. Pelfreybilt makes a great product and is an awesome family based company that i wouldn't hesitate to sell for. I bought my CBI bumper years before I owned a shop and bought it because of the weight and because I think it looks a lot better than the pelfreybilt hybrid front and it was on a clearance sale at the time due to overstock. The reference to the ARB bumper was to point out that you can put a hybrid bumper with a winch, synthetic rope and lights on your truck and it still weights less than just an ARB bumper alone.

Yeah, I'd suggest a hybrid bumper to anyone who doesn't mind the look of them. Some people think it looks ugly and want a plate bumper and don't mind the added weight.

If there was no plate on the car, it probably wasn't even the complex that called it in. A passing by cop saw a car with no ate and had it towed
