Thats fine. I imagine i wouldnt be able to get them before then either. I mean shit man we only have 2 weeks till the Jambo.

@Silverspool and I will be at Something Wonderful all this weekend. Then next weekend will probably be my gear checklist/pack day to get ready for Jambo.

 

Might be getting a new to me Toyota

 

Will try to bring them to Jambo then.

Same... trying to figure out if I will have a fridge by Jambo or not. Would love to... but not sure yet. May be cutting it close.

This weekend and next weekend are Jambo prep.

I could certainly use a hand and a jack or two to get these springs in. @SuperBad, what are your plans for the weekend? The sooner I can get the ass end of the truck lifted the sooner I can get the alignment done and feel a bit more confident in driving this truck.

 

I should be able to help. I have a few things I need to do over the weekend but I'm not sure when I'll have to do them yet.

yes, I have one full set spare, one's the revised, one's not. I'm sure with a little effort you could get the non-revised spring setup to match the other.

You dont need a stinking fridge. I bought 2 10lb bags of ice for big bend and it lasted till i got home.

I dont think anyone bought dry ice for the trip but im going to try to get some for Jambo. Just to test it and see how long it will last. I guess i could test it at home and see how long it lasts.... we will see how lazy i am...

It would be nice to have a smaller cooler for drinks and stuff that way im not opening and closing the one with all my food, but im willing to bet that a block of dry ice would keep everything pretty cold even with me opening and closing it all the time.

Toyota Jamboree is coming up in a couple weeks. There maybe a few people driving up to the dallas area from your area, maybe they can pick up what you need during that time.

ARB says to keep 'em. If @Geremy really was joking about calling dibs, you're next in line for them.

 

Possible camping trip to Dinosaur Valley State Park maybe in the works. Its not a place that we can wheel our trucks, but it is a place that we can camp with our dogs, hike, fish, swim, and ride bikes.

I have never been and i am feeling the need to camp more to justify the purchase of my RTT.

Would be sweet to take a canoe/kayak down there!

I'd be in for that. I've visited a couple times, but always had to camp elsewhere as it's usually booked up by the time I want to head out that way.

I bought dry ice for Big Bend. Ended up freezing some stuff in the cooler, but it lasted for a while. Still had to buy some ice to refill the RTIC... but became a pain as I could not really keep a lot of stuff in the RTIC.

I have a 30qt RTIC soft side cooler that will be brought to me at Jambo that I can use for drinks... but...

A FRIDGE! Dude.... having no ice... cold ass drinks all the time on the trail... would be so awesome!

Plus using it when i go to Tennessee and then Moab for both food and drinks without having to worry about ice.

Plus I won't have food to worry about at Jambo. Didn't need to last year, and won't bring anything except some Granola and such... they have a food truck out there that makes good food for breakfast and lunch and is cheap. Keeps me from worrying about the kitchen stuff as well.

Would make it just the Fridge needed to keep the beer and stuff cold... could keep the backup drinks and big bottles in the cooler.
