    Also, thank you for saying original. My buddy and I were road tripping from Lubbock to San Antonio and saw a Coopers on the way but oh boy was it under par. They even charged you for beans :annoyed:

    I'd put Cooper's above the OG Salt Lick and Franklin's for sure... Black's is a different story, but i've only been to Black's once and Coopers more times I can count at this point so I need to hit up Black's again before I judge

    There's locations in both, I think Lockhart is the original... its supposed to be the best BBQ in Texas from a lot of sources. I went to the one in Austin a few years ago

    Salt lick has good ribs, but it's over hyped... Great atmosphere though.

    Lockhart yes. Real good place.

    No. Work at semiconductor plant. Just a night shift worker... For now...

    So this is a confusing one now. The Terry Blacks BBQ on Barton Springs is newer and reports from my friends is that its just okay. Blacks BBQ in Lockhart has been there for a long time and is really great! There are a few places in Lockhart that are great actually
