Clarification for salt pools and traditional chlorine setups. Salt pools are still chlorine pools they just produce their own. The benefit is the salanity of the water is about half what the ocean is and makes your eyes and skin feel better. Salt pools are usually very rough on your sandstone coping or waterfalls anything with natural stone vs. tile or concrete. The salt water gets on the rocks and then when it dries the salt crystals expand and over time eat away at the natural stone. You see more calcification on your pool and equipment as well. Especially if you have any leaks. The absolute worse thing you can do with either pool is put tabs in the skimmer baskets. That right there destroys your equipment.

How often to you have to get to your spare too ya know...

You could put a little air strut to assist though. Hmmmm. Now I'm thinking way too hard.

Or that. Would help assist when putting it back so it doesn't slam or anything. Haha.

I agree I don't think that would be necessary. Still be cool though.

Elevator would be nice. It's 24in above the bedside.

Thanks for the info, will save for next time.

I have gotten good at swapping out pumps. A beer to remove, two to put in.

I found the culprit, waiting to hear back from Perry's if they have the part. Left vmail for the guys you suggested, and have one of our TW pool dudes going to call me later. Cheaper than it could be, but with three kids' birthdays happening this month, bad timing.

Impeller? Look for a Leslie's Pool, they have all sorts of things there when you're in a pinch. I've been lucky and found stuff on Amazon too.

Impeller melted due to running dry. Motor and Impeller were already replaced this morning. Trying to track down a lid for the filter housing, it split wide open.

I would not use these people, to make a long story short I recently helped out a coworker who got screwed over by these people. Went to court and everything.

Alright guys, not sure if this has been discussed enough yet... :deadhorse:

I want to order some Kings 2.5 RR, cuz 3rd gen. Any recommendation on where to order from? Other input? I know @JTS2014TACO @JerryTaco (Icon RR) @XPOTRPR are running similar setups, so input is appreciated.
    Considerations:
    -DD
    -Icon 1.5AAL
    -UCAs ordered
-no interest on bigger on tires, re-gear, CMC etc.. (running 265/70/17 KBro2s, white out FTMFW)
-No RTT/xtra weight in bed currently, (will cross that bridge when I get to it and promptly re-apply tire shine)
-I spend 97.3284% of time on Pavement, Yes I Need Kings. (Why? Cuz I want them)

yes, I've spent hours reading other threads, but I rather hear firsthand from my beer-drinking Az Brethren

I did reach out to them but looks like the lead time is pretty long due to the recent GB (which I completely missed :smack:) so I am hoping I can find them quicker. Have you dealt with them?

this. DSM is where I ordered my Kings. good people for sure. I've used them a couple times after that as well.

Leave the Overload leaf in when you install the Icon AAL... if its not installed already. thats about it.
