    That's definitely more than just the tip... There's some shaft with that. Bit curved, but supposedly that can help with performance :rofl:

    They are for sure! I drove to Dallas a bunch to see family for a while and always stopped. Havent gone up there that much recently and almost forgot about West

    Next time you head that way, just for comparison, skip Czech stop and check out the Village Bakery.. further off the highway but well worth it

    Weikel's and Hruska's out past Bastrop are good stops too. If out by New Braunfels, Naegelins is definitely worth a stop for some strudel :drool::drool:

    Have you guys been to Valentina's Tex Mex BBQ on south Manchaca yet??? I loved it when they were 2 blocks away from me on Brodie...but I still venture over there in the mornings on the weekends. These guys compete with Salt Lick, Franklins, & Coopers IMO all day!

    You must try the REAL DEAL HOLYFIELD! It's Brisket, Bacon, a fried egg, beans, potatoes, cheese, and awesome sauce!

    That is around where I grew up! My folks live 15mi south of La Grange. So many delicious fatty german/chzech pastries in that Tri-County area :dancingbacon:

    Go tomorrow morning at 8am! The GF and I are grabbing one on our way out of town. The later in the day...the longer the wait...but nothing like all the other BBQ stops.
