Play along or dont play at all. It's not the "same ol BS". 1st gen did the "same ol BS" to us 2nd gens when came on the block in 05 and we've had our fair share of problems. Take your anger out face to face if you have too, don't do it here. I call this Keyboard Cowardness.

Wow, 2 reported CPS failures on the forum in one day. I haven't seen that since last August. There should be a thread dedicated to photos of 3rd gens on tow trucks.

Where is the CPS on this truck? Could you even service it on the trail if you had to?

I sure as hell hope this doesn't affect the 3rd gens. I had a 06 charger for 9 years before getting my 3rd gen Tacoma. During those 9 years that car had stalled out out of no where at least 15 times. Even after I had to get a new 5.7 hemi which was put in by the dealership, that engine did the same damn thing not even 2 years into having it. Will never buy another dodge. There was no recall ever put out on those engines either but I have read there's an ongoing investigation finally.

It is a 3rd gen issue

I had the same problem with an old Jeep Cherokee I owned. Crapped out many times in the summer heat before I found out the problem.

I've seen these sensors fail when they get wet. Pressure wash lately?

Warm/hot weather as well as heat appears to be a factor in 3rd gen CPS failures.

It's the first summer that I've had the truck. No pressure wash in a while. I do get undercarriage wash if I do wash the truck? Lol
