The 285/75 will look a lot better, what will your lift be set at?

The 285/70 is only a 31.7" tire diameter btw. The 285/75 is a 32.8 diameter and depending on the tire you get it can be a 33" diameter. It won't look a whole lot different from stock 285/70. You won't have as much cutting for it, but that 285/75 sure does look good haha

    I believe it's 2.5(they say 3 but don't think you get that.)

you will have to trim for both sizes and probably do a cab mount chop for both sizes. Definitely the 285/75 but the problem is more of a problem with the width and trying to fit the tire between the uca and the cab mount. Make sure you get 4.5" backspacing, can't stress that enough

Yeah I live in Oregon on the dunes so I want to go as wide as I can. I really just want it all to show up so I can go play in the sand.

I don't think you have to worry as much about clearance in sand, so 285/70 would probably work well. I'm from Alabama and over here we have to worry about clearance on trails as well as sand and mud. The bigger the tires the better here. Get a 285/75 if you want the great looks of the tire, but a 285/70 will do what you want it to

I do not like the way my iPhone interfaces with the Entune system when plugged into the usb port. I prefer using a charger plugged into the 12v receptacle

I have the same lift. I'm running 285/75/r16 BFG KO2. They rub just a little bit on the UCA with the steering wheel turned all the way. The only way I can fix it is to use wheel spacers. Plenty of clearance everywhere else.

They are the stock Toyota wheels that come on the OR. Whatever backspacing that is.

Stock offset is Et25. Might want to look into some wheels with 4.5" backspacing as your next mod, will stop rubbing. I'm guessing you're rubbing your uca's, but you will most likely need a cmc to get you where you don't rub. Even if you did it with spacers you'd need a cmc. I wouldn't recommend spacers, but if you wanted to do that then I'd go spidertraxx all the way. Some helpful info if you want to look for some wheels is bolt pattern is 6x5.5 (or 6x139.7), 16x8 is one of the best sizes for this size tire, and 4.5" backspacing as stated above :)
