Second gen section is boring. It's all how do I install this, what lift do you use etc. I like to go to the third gen section now to watch everyone throw their fecal matter about.

I'll stick with my 12 so much more beast looking and just love it whatever the 3rd gen has we can do to ours. Maybe they will realize they suck and bring back more of the 2nd gen at least motor wise and other....:militarypress:

Wanted a second gen. They're over priced in my area and buying new at the time was cheaper so... :notsure:

It is also now a great place to hear all about a Colorado, a F-150, a Dodge or the undeniable superiority of a fictitious diesel. And questions about how to import a Hilux. Gives me nostalgia for the old 2nd gen forum days.

And then I go read 3rd gen forum and get a handle on who the typical 3rd gen owner is, then I go hug my 2011

I would love to hear this assumption of what is a typical 3rd gen owner.

Im sure its different everywhere but please do not assume the majority. In my neck of the woods I would guess the average age of new taco owners are over the age lf 60. Typical 2nd gen owner..

Bill, what I like or dislike is irrelevant. There both great trucks, I've owned both. I just figured i'd just get a good chuckle out of your point of view of a typical 3rd gen owner before I hit the hay.
