The shop is experienced with the Bully Dog and is going to be Dyno Tuning it. Dont think that is an option with a Dealer flash.

They called me crazy for knocking the bully dog and calling it trash.

They're right because I don't even have a 2nd gen but internet warrior.

Dyno Tuning? How that would work? Bully Dog is a flash also, non-returnable.

BD is a piggy back programmer with different tunes on it. You can reset it back to stock unlike the TRD reflash.

Installed Magnuson 10 days ago with the Bully Dog Tuner with no issues. 200+ miles on/offroad the first week and today ran it 1200 round trip miles to Oregon to pick up a 1600lb offroad teardrop trailer. My truck is 5410lbs dry without me in it and it is running like a champ. No issues pulling the Blues or any other mountain range in Idaho/Oregon on the way home.
Prior to install, debating a dealership flash for a month, I decided with enough research to install the BD and am pleasantly surprised. Shift points are spot on, temps remain safe and constant with impressive performance from 0-80 and pulling steep grades while towing. No issues.
So those of you without the BD and no SC installed please tell me what I can expect.

I recently put the Magnuson on my 2006 with the Bullydog. I am going to install the 2.85 plus UDR's computer and remove the Bullydog. Nothing wrong with the Bullydog or the stock pulley on the Magnuson as it works great. I am just jonesing for a bit more horsepower.

I know. The post was for the op as it may help future decisions as well as for others that may question the results and performance with the BD tuner.
I've also read in another thread here some say they can't get tech help from BD, during install I called twice and chatted once with excellent service.

If you read closer, I was looking for more comments from people without exp with either because worthless opinions matter.

Bd shamed themselves yrs ago here with bs promises, then sending out products to buyers that didnt know they were beta testers. So i assume that may have caused many not to trust bd.
Im def leary after that nonsense cluster fuck
