Alright who has some ideas for a bumper? Nothing to big, winch capable, no big hoops. Thoughts, pics?

Why not a hidden winch mount from Pelfreybilt or US offroad?

Then it's definitely not big and bulky and you don't have to worry about possibly wanting to add hoops later on

 

You can get a check for damages (in at least some cases) even if your vehicle isn't paid off. That's how every Tacoma owner should get their rear off-road bumper after they get rear-ended. Worked for me.

 

Mobtown is extremely attractive to me to save the $$ for the shipping alone. Everything else that I seem to want for bumpers and sliders is on the west coast and I just don't want to drop $300 to ship something.

 

Actually, anyone in the area have one of Mobtown's front bumpers installed? I'd love to see it in person.

Well hell, I need to take a closer look next time I see it.

 

Quick U-bolt question for you guys: My u-bolts are securely attached, but I noticed that a few of the nuts are sitting higher up on the thread of the bolts than others. Should I remove all 4 of the nuts and reinstall them slowly to ensure they are resting at the same height up the bolt?

I love my US OFFROAD hidden winch bumper

 

Hidden winch bumper or a Pelfrey aluminum with no hoops

If I had to do it again I would do less to the truck so it's more practical...I definitely would've gotten the hidden winch option since it's so clean but still allows for a winch.

Looking at pics on the web that seems like the exact bumper i would want. Keep things low key.

 

That is one of my reasons for it. Plus lighter and still aerodynamic.
