    I had those tires before... They are knarly... And wore fast as shit as dd tires... Like 30k... That was on a f150. But off-road was amazing. They hummmm above 25 mph. Always thought a prop plane was following me :rofl:

    3" lift EIBACH coils w/ 5100's front, OME/ Dakar leaf springs w/ toytec adjustable shackles at 1.5" and 5125's out back. 33x10.5x15 KM2's Relentless DIY steel bumper.
    It's the rear driver side axle. Proof is sledge hammer marks on the center of the Hub.

    With the rear axle jacked up and tires removed, I hit the gas and there is an obvious wobble on the rear driver side drum. The rear passenger side rotates in what appears a perfect circle.

    Hammering the the shaft back in with a sledge hammer is what appeared to of caused the damage.

    I have mine located in the same place. From almost always having a cap on the truck I grew used to not seeing out the back window. That's why you have 2 side mirrors!

    It's really quite easy. One of the few items Toyota was consistent with. In the 01' thru '04 models, if you have an elocker (8.0 diff/axle), your axle is setup for ABS. Stock you have an ABS tone ring in there. Even if you don't have an ABS controller under the hood.



    Bent axle hub.

    May or may not have happened during rei-nstallation of of the axle.

    It's less Tacoma and more mod
    Took my canopy off for the nice months! Truck looks much more truck like without it, made me happy to see it with just an open bed again.

    Tomorrow it is getting a full detail from a buddy of mine who details trucks for a living. I'll take before and after photos, really curious to see how much of my pinstriping and scratching comes out. I'm not expecting a miracle but I've seen his work on rougher vehicles than my own and it's damn impressive what the right compounds and pressure can do.
