If you and @Suprajim54 took photos at Jambo, that would be awesome.

We got hit pretty hard with hail in McKinney last night. My truck and wife's highlander were safe in the garage.

bro i was just giving you a hard time because i dont want to be peanut butter and jelly of your fridge!

Also dont you have the RTIC 45? I have the 65 and it was a tight fit for everything. I had to keep cycling water bottles in and im sure that killed a lot of the ice.

How much dry ice did you put in your cooler and did only the stuff closest to the dry ice freeze?

For show. I think Dinosaur Valley or Tyler state park is going to be my next camping trip.

Probably going to be around June time frame. Going to take the dogs swimming out there and do some hiking/bike riding!

I have a music festival to go to or i would be down.

Right! Mods, beer, and food? That sounds like a party!

We got some small stuff last night. Some pea sized hail and a few quarter sized hear and there.

I maybe ordering an aluminum front bumper soon so i may need to swap coils also....

Man you get some dope storm photos!

I like to make time lapse photos with my phone at work when storms roll in....
jim was out there bro! and he did get some dope photos!
Jonathan was out there with a dope ass sony 7a or some shit taking night photos that had daylight lighting with a 5 sec exposure! I was like WTF!?!:eek:
    vvvvvvvv 5 seconds vvvvvvvv
    [IMG]

Damn McKinney always gets hit by this shit. After 3 hail storms in a year i would have to move or some shit. I bet there are a few houses there that have been effected by all the recent hail storms.

Moonlight FTW. Amazing what a good fast lens and a full moon can do. That's a bit longer than 5 seconds, but with a somewhat slow lens and low ISO, still damned amazing.

You and your long ass multiquotes.

Yea, I have a 45... I kept only food in there and it sucked for space. I had another small soft cooler that I kept water and stuff in, the RTIC held the 12 pack of shiner I had plus a few of the mini cokes as well. But if I was having to cook more than one night, it would have sucked.

I bought 7lbs of Dry ice and put it on one side of the cooler, topped it with some ice and then put ice in the other half of the cooler. It ended up freezing the ice above it and beside it.

June would be hot for TSP, but doable since it is so wooded.

    HAHAHAHAHA that would be awesome!

Hell, we just get a campsite that has electric on it and run box fans... I would be down for that.

I am always down for a river trip... pretty sure my roommate is too and you two would get along just fine I think.

    Also... fridge ordered...

So im sure that most of you know that i am making these mounts now...
but i am getting creative and was wondering if anyone would be interested in some mounts like this but with MOLLE cutouts? An example of MOLLE cutouts is below. vvvvvvvv Im not sure exactly how large i can make these mounts yet so that will depend on the overall size later...

Shorter drop hitch would work, that's an 11 inch and it actually drives pretty well like this

Spent about 2 hours today just staring at the back seat of my truck... trying to figure out how to built some sort of platform that will hold the fridge that should be here by Thursday...

Right now my idea is to take out the 60 seat bottom and use the bolt holes to be the main anchor point. Use some 1" wide metal strips that are bent on one end to bolt to the seat anchors. Then on the side closest to the rear use some pieces of wood to help make the platform level. That would then be topped with wood that has carpet on it to make it look nice. Should be easy to remove when I need the full rear seat in the truck.

One though I had would be if I were to use a fridge slide and had the fridge out, it may make the rear of the platform raise up... so at one corner, I would take and bolt a piece of bent metal that would then be secured to the seatbelt bolt. Hopefully this would work and would support the weight of the fridge plus contents. I want to make it easy to install and remove in the truck, so anymore more complicated is a no go.

Anyone recently done brakes on the Tacoma? Trying to decide if I want to just do pads or get pads plus rotors... just not sure the route to go.

This is one I was looking at from Power Stop
    http://www.autoanything.com/brakes/61A5870A0A0.aspx

But didn't know if I should replace the rotors while I was at it or just get some EBC green stuff since they are 20% off right now from AutoAnything.
    http://www.autoanything.com/brakes/61A3070A0A0.aspx

or get an EBC Brake Kit with non slotted/drilled rotors.

I think if you are going to install a platform you would want to bolt down all 4 corners straight down. Using the seat mounts on the front of the mound won't provide much support front to back which is where the most common stresses will be. And you will want both back corners bolted down because you don't want a fridge trying to migrate forward when you lock up your brakes to avoid a coyote in west Texas. I think a slide mounted to a wooden frame in that spot would work but bolt it down using welded on nuts or something similar that is hard work once then simple.
