I mow mine with Ye Olde Style reel mower. I have no advice for lawn mowers with engines, lol.

How big of an area are you talking about? I sort of agree with Noel, old style reel mover might be a good fit. No engines to maintain. Electric ones have also come a long ways.

 

If you've got a smaller lawn they're great. My front yard is probably 50X50, but most of it's garden beds. I can mow the whole thing in an hour, including the strips by the road and the garage, with weedwhacking along the beds and house. No oil changes, stale gas, etc. And it's quiet, so I can mow in the morning without waking up the GF.

 

Small but want to get something that will last and not have to buy again. It may be used at my mom's house too from time to time and she has almost an acre

 

I've got an electric kobalt weed wacker, works awesome. I'd I didn't have a Honda motor huskvarna walk behind I'd have an electric one.

If you're mowing an acre, you probably want something powered, lol.

 

One of the one's I was looking at (and linked) was a Honda powered Husky. How do you like it?

 

Love it, starts every time first pull. Auto choke rwd only. Thought it was funny when I saw they make awd

Yeah me too. I'm just looking for the FWD one. My parents had an old Craftsman FWD mower back in the day and I liked the fact that you never have to let go and restart the drive, you just push it up turn and put it down to keep going

Thanks going to shoot you a text. I've got some horrible squeaking when my suspension cycles sounds like front driver's side. Thinking upper or lower ball joints but haven't had a chance to check it out yet. Curious if you've got and lower drivers LCA with lowish miles if that is indeed what it is

Welp, its official, I need to lose weight.

Got my new seats in and I don't fit as well as I should. They're not as comfortable as I'd like bit they do hold me in snug. Just need the mounts coming next Friday and I'll be good.

 

I agree. They went from a 285 on his old truck to a 275 on an 18" wheel on this truck. Although it doesn't sound like much it just seems smaller

 

Put them side by side and you can't tell the difference, but look from the back and the width difference is pretty perceptible.

I parked next to another FJ on 285 Mickey Thompsons at the Fall Crawl and from the side my 275s looked the same as his 285s. We're talking a few tenths of an inch difference anyways. From the back it was pretty noticable though
