Any interest in a trip to Eagle Lakes for glamping and wheeling on Friday the 16th through the 18th? As long as the trails are open and its not covered in 6' of snow still I will be there shooting, drinking and lighting shit on fire. I will be heading up first thing Friday morning. Who's in?

Not sure how deep that water crossing is gonna be in June. This was last May 30th after a drought year.

Not enough to have a build thread.
How hard is the wheeling? If I can make it through without holding you guys up, I'd be down.

I should be down. Don't think I have anything going on that weekend. Let's hope the 4runner is ready otherwise I'm I'll rock the Tundra to the campsite and hitch a ride with someone wheeling.

When you get your locker in, driveline hill is just a hill.

Tundra would be fine to wheel. My buddy took his tundra out there and did fine, UNTILL he went up driveline hill without a spotter.

Haha that was your friend? I remember seeing him on the trail and then stick on driveline with a broken tie rod. Ouch

Unfortunately the Tundra is a DD only (can't mess up them copper ray 10's yo!). It would need skids for me to get anywhere near the trail with how exposed the oil pan is. I should have the 4runner all set up by then no problem.

Those copper ray 10s are precious. Wheel the runner is the right call.

Everything around there manageable. DLH another story.
Right turn after DLH can be done on a lift/taller tires. There's camping spot past the river crossing (right turn trail) just takes 2-4 hrs to get there depending on the modding of the vehicle.
Basically a warm up before Fordyce.

It's on my to-do list. I've been putting it off mostly because the places I plan on going don't have creek crossings any deeper than my sidewall.

Kinda, I went left side while a jeep was going up. It was kinda sketch, but I ended up stuck on my slider and had to winch. That's when I knew I wanted a front locker.
