I'm not really sure. I haven't done any highway driving since installation. Also mine only makes noise when I'm going above 85 with at least a 30 mph crosswind. Up here I'll never really get that so I'll never be able to tell you.

Man that's too bad! It's weird how people have the same noise but so many different causes of it.

I wedged a piece of weatherstripping in there and it eliminated it 100% The noise was so loud people didnt want to ride in my truck. Did it a year ago, not the slightest sound even in the craziest of crosswinds.

Starting my sound deadening project this week :yay: (doors) any advice before I take the plunge my man?

Not really man. You know more than enough to take off the door panels. I guess the only thing really is the door locks and handles use cables in sleeves to work. When laying the sound deadener over them don't push too hard or they can come out of the bracket holding them. You'll see what I mean when you get into it. But there's nothing too difficult about it, you got it man

Did you do foam or MLV as well? If not do you regret/wish you did? Still researching and have yet to take the plunge and take my door panel off yet. I dont want to go in there to add stuff later down the road. One time thing for sure lol

The gt mat is an adhesive backed foam. I went that route over MLV because from my homework I've found out that foam is better for howling noises like tires and things like that. MLV is better for short, loud noises. The foam also keeps noise in the vehicle also.

Curious to hear your 2 cents on your seat heaters. Being in California AND the desert one would think I didn't need them. But it does get cold in the winter and I do take a lot of snow trips. Reasonably priced so i might go for it, and the switches look killer.

Add a fuse? Tucked pad under seat cover? Quality? Wiring difficulty?

The important question is do you have leather or cloth seats? With cloth I feel like it's not really worth it because your seats are never that cold. Your call though. As far as everything else. I used a simple add a fuse and tied into other switches for switch illumination. Pull power for the heaters from two separate sources though. One source may overload it. You will have to take apart the seat covers to slide them under the covers. Not extremely hard and in my first post I have a good how to for it. Honestly while you're taking the covers off I would replace them with leather covers. I love my katzkins! Quality is great so far. No problems and they heat up rather quickly and it looks completely oem which is what really sold me. Let me know if you have any other questions man!
